What we access

With your permission, MeetingBuddy reads your Google Calendar events and your list of calendars (read-only). It cannot create, change or delete anything in your calendar.

What we use it for

Only to buzz your MeetingBuddy before your meetings and to show your next meeting on its screen. Each time your device checks in, we fetch the next 24 hours of events and send the device only the title, start and end time and notification settings of timed meetings you haven't declined. Descriptions, locations, attendees and meeting links are never sent to the device and never stored.

What we store

• Your Google account ID and email address.
• An encrypted Google access token that lets us read your calendar while you're linked.
• For each device: its settings, which calendars it follows, and when it last checked in, with its battery level and firmware version.

We do not store your calendar events. The device keeps the next 24 hours of titles and times in its memory so it can still buzz if Wi-Fi drops.

Sharing

We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising or to train AI models. MeetingBuddy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

Delete your account from your account page at any time. We delete everything above immediately and revoke our access to your Google account. You can also revoke access from your Google Account settings. The device then stops showing meetings. A factory reset of the device erases its memory.
